Andrew R. D'Amelio D.D.S.
Dr. D’Amelio is a life-long resident of Florida, having moved from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Sarasota, Florida shortly after he was born. Upon graduating from high school he studied at Florida State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Following his undergraduate studies he attended Emory University School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1983. After five years of general practice Dr. D’Amelio decided to specialize in endodontics, the aspect of dentistry he found most fascinating and challenging.
Dr. D'Amelio received his specialty certificate at the University of Maryland Dental School in 1990. Before relocating to Naples, Florida Dr. D’Amelio was a clinical instructor in endodontics at the University of Maryland Dental School. He also provided endodontic services at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, the University of Maryland-College Park and served as a member of the dental team in providing dental services at Taylor Manor Hospital in Ellicott City, Maryland.
Dr. D’Amelio established his specialty practice in Naples, Florida in 1993 where he provides his patients with optimum care and is a well respected member of the dental community. Dr. D’Amelio has personally assumed leadership roles in organized dentistry, having served in numerous capacities including being a past President of the Collier County Dental Association.

Dr. D’Amelio is married to Dr. Jenny D’Amelio and they have two very active sons, John and David. When he is not attending their activities he enjoys fishing, golfing and skiing with his family.
